BTS - Vallum Farm Workshop
Firstly, it has occurred to me that my blog upkeep has been less than perfect! New Year's resolution - try harder! I will blame it on the toddler, and the amount of my time spent ensuring she doesn't eat her crayons or attempt to play one of Dan's guitars with a piece of jammy toast!
So I had my first styled shoot of the year a couple of weeks ago. I was back up at the gorgeous Vallum Farm, which is just 20 miles away from me here in Stanley. Google maps took us on on interesting tour or Northumberland, however, and across the narrowest bridge they ever did let cars across!
The day was so much fun, and I had the lovely Vicky from Flowers with Vic with me to assist. It was lush having come company and she was a super awesome helper. The other suppliers were all amazing and didn't seem to mind the chilled reggae and dancehall playlists I inflicted upon them all day via my bluetooth speaker!
The whole thing was organised by Laura Beasley - look her up! Not only is she an amazing photographer, and a genuinely lush person, but she also hosts these super workshop days where suppliers can collaborate and try out new ideas, and other photographers can come along and do the same! What a gem!
Here are a few behind the scenes pics taken on my phone (not by the pros!) and a list of insta handles for suppliers involved, in case you're still looking for a talented creative for your big day!!
